Sam Blatt is the Director of Development and Public Relations at Riverview Center, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free and confidential services for individuals impacted by sexual violence. With a strong background in politics and nonprofit work, Sam is passionate about building connections, raising awareness, and ensuring resources reach those who need them most.

“As part of an agency supported by United Way, I wanted to join an organization that brings people and local organizations together to make a tangible difference,” Sam shares. “United Way’s mission of supporting local programs and addressing critical needs inspired me to get involved.”

Sam’s favorite part of serving on the board is witnessing the power of community collaboration. “Whether through fundraising events, partnerships, or volunteer efforts, it’s amazing to see how every small contribution adds up to something transformative for individuals and families in need.”

United Way plays a key role in creating lasting change by supporting essential services like food security, education, and mental health resources. “By funding these initiatives, United Way ensures that individuals and families have the tools they need to thrive.”
