General Board Member

Mariana Juarez, a mother of two and grandmother of four, along with five step-grandchildren, has called Decorah home for the past two years after relocating from California. Now retired after a 33-year career in retail, she enjoys spending her time gardening and crocheting. Mariana was introduced to United Way of Winneshiek County through a friend and saw it as a meaningful way to get involved in the community. She is inspired by the unity and generosity shown by local groups and businesses and takes pride in knowing that the funds raised go directly back into the community she now calls home.
